The Department is headed by Chief Minister assisted by Parliamentary Secretary and Secretary as AHOD. The Department looks after the Revenue Administration and Land Records and Survey. The detailed powers and duties of each employee is explained under the Powers and Duties Section. The Organization Chart is given below:
Directorate level activities.
(a) Land Revenue Administration.
The Commissioner, Nagaland functions as the ex-Officio Director of Land Revenue and he is assisted by the Deputy Commissioner at Headquarter level and ADC/SDO at Sub-Divisional level and two Revenue Officers in Kohima and Dimapur. The Revenue Administration primarily deals with land Settlement and Collection of Land Revenue.
